    Atelier Boutique

    Atelier, Fashion Boutique, founded by Karlo Steel in 2002. Atelier is the go-to fashion boutique when it comes to street-goth fashion in New York. The store, that sells womens- and menswear is specialized on designers such as Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester and Yohji Yamamoto and has become known as a trendsetter for this type of fashion. The store closed temporarily due to financial problems but has re-opened in Soho’s prestigious Hudson Street.

    OAK

    Riccardi

    Riccardi, fashion retailer, founded 1978 by Riccardo Dallai in Boston. When Dallai first moved to Boston from Florence, Italy in the 1970’s, the city had little to do with European fashion. Dallai saw potential in Boston and opened a men’s and womenswear store on Boston’s trendy Newbury Street. Here he started selling Italian designer fashion brands such as John Galliano, Prada, Comme des Garcons as well as jeans and sportswear labels and became very popular amongst Boston’s fashion savvy crowd. Dallai’s sense for fashion trends and consistently up-to-date inventory have made him one of the most sought after fashion retailers in Boston.

    Odin New York

    Odin, fashion store, founded 2005 by Ed Chai and Paul Birardi in New York. Odin has become an internationally known premium menswear shopping location in New York. In three stores located in the East Village, Soho and West Village, Chai and Birardi sell menswear as well as some womenswear. The fashion is according to their internationally recognized style with a focus on quality, fit and design without following trends too much.

    Dash Boutique

    DASH, fashion boutique, founded 2006 by the Kardashian sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney in Calabasas. DASH became known and popular though the founders, who are the stars of the reality-TV show “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”, in which the womenswear boutique is frequently featured. After the first store in Calabasas emerged as a success two further boutiques in Miami Beach and New York City were opened.

    MatchesFashion.com

    MatchesFashion.com, British Online Retailer, founded 2006 in London by Tom and Ruth Chapman. MatchesFashion.com is the online-shop attached to the brick and mortar retail chain Matches in London. The successful retail business which was founded in 1990 and currently runs 14 stores in London decided to take the brand into the online space and created MatchesFashion.com. The online shop generates a large part of the business sales and offers over 400 men’s and women’s designer labels to customers in over 120 countries.

    MyTheresa.com

    MyTheresa.com, German online retailer, founded 2006 in Munich by Christoph and Suzanne Botschen. MyTheresa.com is part of the expansion of the multi-label retailer THERESA in Munich. After the brick and mortar store had been attracting more customers than they could handle, the company decided to offer their products on an online platform in order to cater to a higher number of customers and international clients. MyTheresa.com continues to be very successful, selling designer luxury clothing to customers in over 120 countries and the company has been bought by the retail group Neiman Marcus. The company was also known for its former trendsetting buying director Justin O’Shea who left the company in March 2016.

    Apropos

    Apropos, German Concept Store, founded 1984 in Cologne by Klaus Ritzenhöfer and Daniel Riedo. Apropos is an internationally known concept store based in Cologne with stores in Hamburg, Duesseldorf and Munich. Combined with the restaurant Fischermanns, Apropos offers a lifestyle experience with more than garments, selling interior design, accessories, food and clothes. Only one year after opening the store in Cologne the retailer received the award of “Store of the Year” and since has continued to be highly successful. Apropos is known for selling high-end brands such as Diane von Furstenberg, Dior and Gucci and for their bright pink entrance and glass-roof patio.

    Moss Store

    Moss Store, concept store, founded in 1994 by Murray Moss and Franklin Getchell. The gallery-like shop, located in SoHo, New York closed after 18 years of existence in February 2012. The mix of ultra-modern furniture and vintage, old-fashioned home goods characterized the shop and attracted a lot of browsers from around the world.

    Voo Store

    Voo Store, German fashion store, founded by Kaan and Yasin Müjdeci. The Voo Store, located in Berlin’s Kreuzberg is an internationally renowned concept store. Built into the store of a former locksmith, Voo Store offers a variety of international street wear design brands as well as design objects, books and it includes an in-store coffee. The buyer Herbert Hofmann puts a focus on timeless fashion that will last for a life-time.
