Belle Époque
Belle Époque is a french word and means ‘beautiful era’. It is a period that began during the late 19th century and lasted until World War I, from 1890 – 1914. The centre of the Belle Époque is Paris where haute couture was invented and fashion began to move in a yearly cycle.
