Imran Amed, British-Canadian business consultant, journalist, entrepreneur, founder and editor-in-chief of ‘The Business of Fashion’ (BOF). After receiving his MBA at Harvard business school Amed, who is of Indian descent but was born in Calgary, AB, moved to London in 2006 where he worked for the management consulting company McKinsey & Company. In 2007, Amed left the company and started writing his own fashion blog that became extremely popular and has a large following. The journalist is known as one of the most important fashion experts world wide. He has been featured all over the media on CNN, New York Times, Vogue and many more. Also with his company he successfully consults international luxury brands and start-ups. GQ has listed Amed as one of the 100 most influential men in Britain.
