    Jacques Doucet

The French fashion designer (1853–1929) was widly known for his elegant dresses, made with flimsy translucent materials in superimposing pastel colors. Doucet mostly designed clothes which were more luxury than practically. This matter of fact caused a decrease of his popularity during the 1920s.  Nevertheless he was a fashion designer with an incredible taste and most of his original designs he created for actresses of that time.
