Notched Lapel
The notched lapel is a lapel with a V-shaped indentation and is sewn to the collar at an angle, creating a step effect. This is the standard on single-breasted suits and is used on nearly all suit jackets, blazer and sport jackets. Look also at: shawl lapel and peaked lapel.
