    Stella McCartney

    Stella McCartney is an English fashion designer. She was born on September 13th, 1971 and is the daughter of the famous Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney. Stella became interested in designing clothing, when she made her first jacket at age 13. Three years later she interned for Christian Lacroix, working on his first fashion design collection. Her graduation collection in 1995 was modelled by friends and supermodels Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Yasmin Le Bon – for free – at the graduation runway show. Stella, which is a lacto-ovo-vegetarian, does’t use fur or leather in her designes and supports PETA. Stella does us instead wool, silk and other animal-derived fabrics in her designs.
