    Tie Dye

Tie dye can be described on one hand as a process of resist dyeing textiles or clothing which is usually made from cotton, knit or woven fabric. On the other hand it could also be the resulting pattern or an item which features this pattern. Tie-dyeing became fashionable as part of the hippie style in the West in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
