Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 Fashion Show
Paris 10:00 am circa back in 1912: the Louis Vuitton express locomotive rolled into the “station,” pulling a carriage of beautifully dressed models hopping off the train with their own porter carrying their Louis Vuitton bags.
Not only performed Marc Jacobs a great show but he also designed an amazing Fall/Winter 2012 collection inspired by the pre-WWI wardrobe. Jackets and outerwear were the key components to the ready-to-wear Fall look —wide-lapeled, faintly seventies numbers, with huge, shiny buttons. Wallpaper prints were equally important, and best worn head-to-toe in fitted pantsuits.
I’d say full steam ahead with this magnificent show. Enjoy the journey. Au revoir.
