Streetstyle New York: Dress of the week #6 – Ivan

    Dezember 1st, 2016

    Throwback Thursday

(We met Ivan back in New York in July 2010)

Ivan didn’t tell us his last name. Maybe he couldn’t decide if he wants to be Ivan Gucci or Ivan Dolce. He could easily claim to be one of those designers, because he is wearing Dolce and Gucci from head to toe. Except his handbag. This piece is from Bottega . But we’ll categorize it certainly into the same high-end fashion level. Chapeau!

    Fashion Style Tip: Dolce & Gabbana’s pussy-bow

    Oktober 14th, 2015

Dolce & Gabbana‘s silk-blend chiffon blouse has a ruffled, high neckline and extended cuffs that give it a vintage-inspired feel. It’s trimmed with tonal lace along the front and finished with a satin pussy-bow that can be tied or left undone. Layer yours over a black camisole to temper the sheerness.

Streetstyle New York: Dress of the week #66 – Vanessa

    April 26th, 2013

I caught Vanessa coming out of the Stella McCartney store on Greene Street in Soho in midst of a shopping spree. The fashion stylist from New York was wearing a Proenza Schouler coat and sweater paired with a skirt and some beautiful boot heels by Tyler Fitzsimmons. The part of her outfit, that couldn’t have been missed though was Vanessa’s handbag – a unique piece from the pre-fall 2012 Dolce & Gabbana collection. It’s combination of floral print, black leather and gold looked stunning and caught the attention of many fellow shoppers, me included.

Latest Fashion News: Dolce & Gabbana talk digital

    Juli 13th, 2011

Business of Fashion (BoF) founder Imran Amed speaks with the Italian fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana in a video interview recorded in June at London’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, about how they use digital technologies in their daily business, how this has changed the way they work now and why they are the first brand to put fashion bloggers in their front row back in September 2009.

“It’s important to have different points of view and that’s why we decided to invite some bloggers in the front row of our show,” sais Mr. Gabbana convincingly.

During the interview Dolce & Gabbana reveal they are the first luxury fashion brand to have a mobile website in 2004, the first to livestream a fashion show in 2005, and the first to live stream a fashion show on an iPhone in 2009. Not to mention about the fact that no one invited bloggers before to their fashion shows.

You can watch the entire interview below. It’s very interesting.
