Isn’t she a dream in red? We encountered Lana a couple of days ago on her way to a cocktail party. Unfortunately she didn’t remember where she got her adorable red costume, including the very fancy handbag.
The dress might be Barami. The retailer currently offers a dress that looks very similar to Lana’s. Regrettably you can’t order it online. But if you are in the mood, stop by at the store at 57th and Lexington Ave. It’s still there. We checked it out yesterday afternoon.
Ivan didn’t tell us his last name. Maybe he couldn’t decide if he wants to be Ivan Gucci or Ivan Dolce. He could easily claim to be one of those designers, because he is wearing Dolce and Gucci from head to toe. Except his handbag. This piece is from Bottega . But we’ll categorize it certainly into the same high-end fashion level. Chapeau!
Jessica Diaz Hernandez is wearing our emphasized dress of this week. Her bebe shoes are truly the eye-catcher of her outfit and a good contradiction to the bright and summer-like yellow dress. “I hope you like it” is Jessica’s conclusion in the video. We don’t hope it. We know it.
This week the Italian high fashion brand “Fendi” is all over the place. Our public model seems to be a huge Fendi fan. She is wearing shoes and a crocodile handbag from the Italian design house. Combined with a “Chanel” coat the entire dress looks very, very fashionable. See for yourself.
Sometimes Fun City is getting inspired from its smaller British sister. In the latest issue of our “Dress of the Week” we encountered Adrian Smith with a London inspired vintage style in the heart of SoHo. It’s a cute outfit that’s wearable for both, business and leisure time.
She got her sense of style probably from her grandmother. That’s what Stacy Dreyfus is telling us at least at the end of our video. The fact of the matter is that Stacy really knows what to wear this season. We encountered her with a colorful dress of French Fashion Designer Catherine Malandrino. It’s just awesome.
Do you remember our very first “Dress of the week”? We saw Kamali on New Yorks Madison Avenue. Enjoy watching it!
Dress of the week is our weekly sequel where we want to show you cute, adorable, fancy and luxurious outfits. In the first shot we’ll give Kamali a try. We bumped into her at 60th and Madison just a few days ago.
Look at her ring and you’ll immediately know why she is our dress of this week. Her brown topaz from Italian Jewelry Designer Daniela de Marchi is simply breathtaking.
Oria was showing New York some Honk Kong-style on her day out shopping. The Parsons fashion marketing student was wearing a black leather jacket and goddess style skirt she found in a small boutique in Hong Kong paired with a oversized t-shirt from Diesel. She wore this black and grey look with a white Tom Ford clutch from the latest collection and black Tom Ford sunglasses. To add some spring color to that mix, Oria was donned a pair of Balenciaga glove sandal wedge heels in bright pink. Now let’s let her continue her shopping tour.
One of my favorite looks is an outfit consisting of rather somber colors with one single pop of vibrant color. Therefore Jennifer’s look was exactly what I am into. On her shopping trip through New York’s SoHo she was wearing a beautiful crème and black leather jacket with zip-off sleeves over a simple Helmut Lang t-shirt with J Brand chinos. Jennifer was walking on red soles, sporting a pair all over studded Louboutin oxfords and finished off her look with – and this is where the pop of color comes in – an eye-catching electric blue clutch by Comme des Garcons.
A military jacket paired with an elegant bright red handbag and somewhere in there a peace sign… Sounds like a great outfit to me. Luisa was wearing a green and black military style jacket with red details over a “Polite as Fuck” T-shirt with some Rag & Bone jeans. Her velvet slippers from Stubbs & Wooton with an embroidered peace-sign on one and a marijuana leaf on the other, represented the more relaxed side of Luisa’s outfit. Her sharp, red Céline handbag was the perfect choice to finish off this outfit with. It is a great contrast to the military jacket in earth tones and makes the look interesting and edgy.
