    Teddy Boy Style

    Februar 2nd, 2011

The ‘Teddy Boy Style’ aka ‘Ted’ has been inspired by the Edwardian style and was mainly worn by young, wealthy British men around the 1950s. Teddy is a common nickname for ‘Edward’ which is the eponymous for Edwardian fashions, hence the name. The distinct style especially adopted the tailored-fitted jackets, high-stiff collars and skinny pants of the Edwardian era. The Teddy Boy trend became extremely popular post World War II when incomes rose and people could spend more money on fashion again.
