    Eileen Fisher, American Fashion Designer, born 1950 in Des Plaines. After studying interior design, Fischer moved to New York to work as an interior and graphic designer. She noticed the lack of clothes that appealed to her and decided to start her own brand, selling four designs at a New York trade show. Her designs were popular among the buyers and the company soon expanded selling high quality clothes made in the US under fair conditions and meeting the requirements of modern working women, who were looking for comfortable, effortless and elegant clothing to provide them with confidence. After graduating from the renowned fashion school Parsons in New York, Lieberman started her career in fashion working for other designers before opening her own store Culture and Reality, where she sold fashion inspired by her previous work travels.     Van Laack, German Shirt Label, founded 1881 by Heinrich van Laack in Berlin. When founded in 1881, Heinrich van Laack’s aim was to manufacture the best shirts in the world. In the 1920’s his high quality shirts became especially popular, when shirt labels started to matter and resulted in great company growth. Van Laack has stood for high quality, modern dress shirts and blouses ever since. The love for detail and high quality craftsmanship is carried on and the company has largely expanded with over 90 mono-brand stores worldwide and many more point of sale. The brand continues to be well known for high quality and made to measure shirts that are sourced internationally.
