Alan Bilzerian, fashion retailer, founded 1967 by Alan Bilzerian in Worcester, USA. During the 1960’s, a time of change and liberation, Alan Bilzerian decided to provide New England with a fashion that matched the time. His first store “Body Shop” in Worcester offered hip designer clothing including printed corduroy and velvet shirts. Quickly he caught the attention of many artists and musicians, and became a household name amongst the fashion forward crowd. Bilzerian later opened a second boutique in Boston, where he sold some of the most modern European and Asian designers such as Issey Miyake, Giorgio Armani and Comme des Garcons next to his own collection of suits, shoes, knitwear and accessories for men and women. Alan Balzerian continues to be a go-to address for the most fashionable Boston population and visitors and has sold garments to many celebrities including Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder and Madonna.
