Chanel collection’s genius lay in Karl Lagerfeld’s supernatural prescience about the way a lot of young women want to dress now, mixing the street with enough high fashion fantasy to make the result seem rich and strange. What do you think about this F/W 2011 outfit – NO or GO?

Lanvin’s F/W 2011 men’s collection was described as “Tailoring used in a sportswear way” by the label’s menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver. While Lanvin’s creative supremo Alber Elbaz added: “Where uptown and downtown meet”. What do you think? Is this outfit a NO or a GO for you?

Who doesn’t know her? Ann Demeulemeester is widely known for her very dark, punk and almost scary designs. This year she was inspired by birds that had got her thinking about animals in mythology, in particular the faun, half man, half goat. Almost every other model was dressed from head to toe in goat fur, as shown in this design.

What’s your thought – NO or GO for Ann Demeulemeester?

John Galliano, the former chief designer of the French couture house Christian Dior, impressed his audience in his F/W 2011 runway show with a harried horde of Russian emigrés in great big coats, tufty shearling, and military jackets. What do you guys think of this coat below – NO or GO?

Betsey Johnson’s F/W 2011 collection was the launch of her lower-priced Pink Patch line, which is basically a reprisal of Johnson’s greatest hits— cabbage rose, skull-print leggings and tees, Victorian corset blazers and full petticoated prom dresses as shown in the picture below. What do you think guys, is it a NO or GO for Betsey Johnson?

“Where uptown meets downtown” is Lanvin’s creative supremo Alber Elbaz inspiration of his F/W 2011 men’s collection.  “A return to elegance—the word is always being used to describe old people. When you talk about the young, it’s always ‘cool’ or ’sexy’, but we wanted to introduce elegance to the young,” said Elbaz proudly after his Fashion Show. What do you think – is this outfit below a GO for elegant or rather a NO for – no way?
