    Kitten Heel

    A kitten heel is a short, slender heel that is usually from 1.5 inches (3.5 cm) to 2 inches (5 cm) high with a slight curve setting the heel in from the edge of the shoe.

    Stella McCartney

    Stella McCartney, English fashion designer, born 1971 in London. The daughter of one of the Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney designed her own first jacket at the early age of 13. Three years later she did an internship at Christian Lacroix and in 1995, McCartney graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design (CSM) in London where she studied fashion design. Due to her celebrity, big model names such as Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Yasmin Le Bon modeled for free at her graduation fashion show. The PETA supporter is known for not using any leather or fur materials in her collections.

    Roberto Cavalli

    Roberto Cavalli, Italian fashion designer, born 1940 in Florence. The Italian designer is widely known for the very exotic prints in his collections which can be found in his main line ‘Roberto Cavalli’ as well as his two side collections ‘RC menswear’ and ‘Just Cavalli‘. The latter is Cavallis newest invention which he launched in 1998 with the intention to cater to a younger crowd. Cavalli started his professional career at age 30, presenting his first namesake prêt-à-porter collection in Paris. Two years later, in 1972, he opened his first flagship boutique in Saint-Tropez. By today, the brand has evolved to a multimillion fashion conglomerate selling everything from clothes to accessories and fragrances.

    Ralph Lauren

    Ralph Lauren, American fashion designer, born 1939 in the Bronx, New York City. The self-thought fashion designer started his fashion career as a shop assistant and buyer in different department stores before he designed a handmade tie collection for Beau Brummel in 1967. Its immediate success encouraged Lauren to start his own menswear collection Polo by Ralph Lauren one year later. Based in Midtown Manhattan, he launched his first womenswear collection and his first standalone store in Beverly Hills, California in 1971. As of 2009, Polo Ralph Lauren is one of the largest retailers in the United States. The luxury lifestyle company specializes in high-end casual wear for both women and men, accessories, furniture and fragrances.
