    Latest Fashion News: Dolce & Gabbana talk digital

    Business of Fashion (BoF) founder Imran Amed speaks with the Italian fashion designers Dolce and Gabbana in a video interview recorded in June at London’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel, about how they use digital technologies in their daily business, how this has changed the way they work now and why they are the first brand to put fashion bloggers in their front row back in September 2009.

    “It’s important to have different points of view and that’s why we decided to invite some bloggers in the front row of our show,” sais Mr. Gabbana convincingly.

    During the interview Dolce & Gabbana reveal they are the first luxury fashion brand to have a mobile website in 2004, the first to livestream a fashion show in 2005, and the first to live stream a fashion show on an iPhone in 2009. Not to mention about the fact that no one invited bloggers before to their fashion shows.

    BOF, short for Business of Fashion, is an online fashion website founded in 2007 by Imran Amed. Over the last couple of years, BOF developed a thight network of fashion insiders around the world, which covers up and coming business trends in a fast changing market.
