Streetstyle New York: Dress of the week #46 – Matsidiso Da Silva

    Oktober 31st, 2012

Matsidiso Da Silva was wearing a “whole bunch of brands” when we shot her. She skillfully combined fast fashion with high fashion and looked so amazing in her outfit! A Neiman Marcus camisole underneath a Louis Vuitton half blazer paired with H&M pants and animal printed Steve Madden sandals were the perfect fit. As accessories she chose a daring, gold-colored handbag, Nine West sunglasses and a silver Topshop necklace. What can we say? Well done Da Silva!

Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 Fashion Show

    März 8th, 2012

Paris 10:00 am circa back in 1912: the Louis Vuitton express locomotive rolled into the “station,” pulling a carriage of beautifully dressed models hopping off the train with their own porter carrying their Louis Vuitton bags.

Not only performed Marc Jacobs a great show but he also designed an amazing Fall/Winter 2012 collection inspired by the pre-WWI wardrobe. Jackets and outerwear were the key components to the ready-to-wear Fall look —wide-lapeled, faintly seventies numbers, with huge, shiny buttons. Wallpaper prints were equally important, and best worn head-to-toe in fitted pantsuits.

I’d say full steam ahead with this magnificent show. Enjoy the journey. Au revoir.

    Mai 25th, 2011

We just loved everything on her – Monique Santiago, our next dress of the week knows exactly how to dress. We met her after a Fashion Show at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York. Her make up, the customized ear-rings, her Louis Vuitton shoes combined with this awesome vintage fur vest was so outstanding that we just had to tape her. Great outfit Monique!
